Hi,
Delray here, member of the UK flyfishingforum. Keen, but not very good, angler; rugby fan and aficionado of Pubs.
I've recently reached a significant age and promised myself a special fishing trip which I'll try to do in 2018; Canada maybe.....so was wondering if anyone could give some advice.
My criteria are; good fishing, preferably some dry fly on light gear (so not necessarily salmon), somewhere beautiful and remote, not more than 2 flights to get there and MIDGE free!
So, London to Vancouver. And then I'm not sure what.
Any suggestions would be very gratefully received.
Cheers and best regards,
Del

Or London to Calgary, or London to anywhere!!

Oops, just realised should have been in the Pacific section, so repeated it there.

White City (tad north of Medford) Oar-E-Gone
Saw your other post but will repeat my answer here: Deschutes River (NE Oregon for just about anything you can dream up. The other (trout) are stream/flows through just about any part of eastern Oregon.

If the stream flows (one way or another) into the Columbia River it has Steelhead and Pacific Salmon.
