    Default Fishing in Schools Program Coming to Missouri

    The National Fishing in Schools Program is excited to cooperate with Ryan Combs, Instructor of Biology at Neosho High School and Crowder College, to bring a 2 Day NFSP Teacher Training to southwestern Missouri, February 14th & 15th. If your school, organization or institution is interested in participating and/or supporting “Fishing in Schools”, or you simply want to learn more about the "Cast A Fly, Catch A Student" curriculum of NFSP, please join us. There is no obligation to commit to the program before, or after, your training.


    This session is for the purpose of conducting NFSP Level 2 Teacher Trainer Certification, NFSP Level 1 Teacher Certification and NFSP Mentor Certification

    • WHERE: Neosho High School, 511 South Neosho Boulevard, Neosho, MO 64850
    • DAY ONE: Tuesday, February 14th, 2012:
    o TIME: 8 AM to 4 PM

    o NFSP Level 2 Teacher Trainer Certification
    • DAY TWO: Wednesday, February 15th, 2012:
    o TIME: 8 AM to 4 PM
    o NFSP Level 1 Teacher Certification
    o & NFSP Mentor Certification
    o & 2nd day for Level 2 Certification

    To register, please visit our website, NFSP Training Registration. The cost is $50 per day. This training fee is credited back to your school/organization when a Curriculum Kit is purchases.

    I think this is a great idea.
    Over the past couple of years I've been wondering about getting a class put together at our local high school that would run during the Winter months. I think next year could be a possibility.
