I wouldn't want this for Alaska or anywhere ever again!

They are now saying that except for the creek that the torrent pushed down the water quality in Quesnel Lake is back to the standards for Canadian drinking water.
I have yet to see any government officials or ministry officials take a good gulp from a glass dipped into the lake.

We spent three nights camping in that area in the summer of '73. In 2006 on the way back from the Yukon Territory we decided to drive back in there to see how things had changed over the years. We were so depressed to see the "progress" that we decided not to spend any nights.
