ive watched several videos watching davie McPhail tying a few patterns with catgut thread. having trouble finding a source... any help?

I have some catgut suture, but your fly would dissolve while using it.

I've been using suture material(absorbable) for awhile now, both chromic(slightly brown) and plain(clear) with no problem. I tied a bunch a couple of seasons ago and they are still going strong. I bought the material online for around $15 for 12 18" pcs.
