    Default Hanging by a Thread

    Hi Everyone,

Take a look at the "Hanging by a Thread" story on the home page. There is a lot of information that will be valuable to any fly tier. It is the first time I have seen so much information about different threads in one place. This is a must read for any new tier. You can print the chart and save it for future reference.

Thanks to Paul for putting this one up. This is a good example of why we should all check the Home Page frequently.

    Hi Frank,

Thanks for the "heads up" (as they say in Old Blighty). This indeed was an excellent article about thread, which as it says is perhaps the most critical component in fly-tying, yet little considered. Only problem I had in reading it were the mis-spellings (i.e., extra "u" in many words) .

On the whole, I'd rather be in Wyoming . . .

    Thanks Frank,

I use a few different threads and a few spools of silk. I never understood the 'Denier' rating and now I do. I think I posted something called "We all have something to learn" you helped me learn something today

Anywhere can be the land of great expectations, broken dreams, or paradise found, it's all up to you.
