Default Hexagenia Limbata

AKA huge mayfly,

They are very early this year on my lake, has anyone seen them on the wood river in Rhode Island yet? they are about two weeks early from what I can tell.

I am up on my latin names of insects. I may not know a hexagenia from a hex wrench, but I do know a mayfly when I see one! If you are referring to the large, light colored ones I saw several on a small stream in my area (Easton) last weekend. I was bass fishing with rubber worms at the time but since I am mainly a trout fisherman I always make note of mayflies when I see them.
