Default advise on vise

Hello has anyone used or own the RENZETTI TRAVELER 2000 SERIES model t2002? I am looking to buy my first vise and found that it has very good reviews. I have chance to buy one for cheap but it is used. Would you recommend i purchase it or should I purchase a cheaper but new one? The condition looks decent but im not sure how much its worth. Thank you and i respect your opinions.

The Renzetti Traveler is an excellent vise, you will enjoy tying on that vise for years to come, if you can get it for a good discount all the better.

Assuming it isn't broken a used one should function as new. I really like mine. Perfect for trout, salmon and panfish sized flies.

I think it depends on how cheap and do you know the person that's selling it.

From what I've read these things are almost 'bullet proof,' the only thing that can 'go wrong' is the end of the jaws get a 'groove.' But it takes thousands of flies to get to that point.
