Guys i am spending the big bucks... well not really I got cards for my Birthday and spending on some new waders...

I am either going

go with the headwaters. Better materials and construction. Should last a LONG time!

Hi smallieman,

If it was me I would get the Gore Tex Headwaters. They are light and wear well. The Freestone is not Gore Tex. If you are going to buy breathable waders then get the one that breaths the best. That would be Gore Tex.

You should also take a look at the Headwaters Pants. They will be much cooler in hot weather. I have the old Guide Pants and they are the best waders that I have owned.

I agree with everyone above. I would spend a little more and get the pair that are gore-tex.
