Default Build it and they will come.

Hey all,
I am thinking of building a net this winter and would like some opinions please. I am looking at all these beautiful wooden framed nets and would love to have one and to build it my self. I was wondering what type of wood would you think best suite this project. It will be a short handle trout net.

Default Re: Build it and they will come.

I have a Brodin and have had it for years. Bought it back in the 70's and I like all of their styles and appearance. They have some decent looking woods in their nets. On the other hand, I am now focusing on the " bullet proof " NOMAD using new modern materials not as attractive, but very practical. Just a little pricey and so is the Brodin line. You only get what you pay for.
