I carry Outcast Pontoon Kick Boats. I've recently been approved as a new St. Croix Dealer. I'm working on my initial order which consists of $1,000 worth of rods. So... yes I can get St. Croix rods but I'm not sure how soon that will be. Which rod are you interested in?

i am interested in the imperial series 4wt. 7'6ft. i casted the avid, and the imperial, and thought the imperial casted alot better. much smoother, and 30 bucks cheaper. thanks for the help steve!

    Philip:

St. Croix make excellent fly rods. I too like the Imperial better than the Avid. I have personally owned both. The Imperial is more of a medium action than the Avid. I prefer medium action in all of my rods under an 8wt.

The Imperial and the ECHO cast about the same to me. Both are very smooth and easy to cast. They both look good too. The Imperial, as you know, is finished in a nice chesnut brown and the ECHO is finished in a beautiful emerald green. The cast is really the same but still I give the edge to ECHO regarding cosmetics. They both come with a tube.

I can get St. Croix for you if you prefer. I will go ahead and place my initial order so we can get you going. Just let me know what and when you want it.

    Thanks,
    Steve

    easternflyfisher,

If the st. croix fly rods are as good as there other rods than it's well worth the money. I fish a 6'6 ultra-light and love it. Got it teamed up with a Tica-Cetus.
