    Default Fishing Van Rod Rack.

S&S and I prefer to store our trout rods on an interior rack when in our trout camps. This rack has appeared on several of his threads. We have often discussed how to store rigged rods in a van as we both tend to see one in our future. I would be interested in knowing about (and seeing) the interior rack any of you van owners are using.

I've got a new SUV coming on weds- I've been weighing my options here as well, as I will have more interior length than ever. Google shows options, but doesn't provide much detail about function.

There are some new entries in rooftop carriers- the Yakima 4 rod holder is very impressive in person. And the Riversmith River Quiver holds some promise as well.

The van I'm considering is a high roof model. So, a roof top box would be difficult to access.

It's not very high tech, but this is what I rigged up inside my shell.

I have gone down some pretty rough dirt roads and I haven't had any problem with the rods dislodging.

I too like to keep my rods inside my vehicle, even when assembled if possible.

I just don't want to advertise to potential thieves that there might be something inside my truck worth stealing.

That's been my philosophy for long time... Why advertise?
