Has anyone here been? Fished it? Know much about it?

Seriously considering getting the wife and i down there for a bit. It's already getting a bit late in the season (hot) yet who knows, maybe it's a better time to fish.

Any knowledge would be welcome!

Hello there!
I know it's a little too late since this post was last year's and I'm new in the forum.
I've been to Cayo Largo 4 times, and the fishing is amazing!
Very complete concerning species and low fishing pressure.
We work together with Avalon and take groups t Cuba every year, if you go with your wife, it's a good option since the lodging we offer in the packages are in an all inclusive.
I'm not going this year though since I'll go to the PEROLA YACHT in Isle of the Youth in May and to CAYO CRUZ in August to host a trip, where we actually still have available rods.
