Fly Fishing Guides Costa Rica

Long time since I posted...

I'm headed to Tamarindo on the upper NW side of the country. Other than bluewater charters who chase the bills does anyone know of my options for a fly friendly guide? I'm going to have to two hop from San Jose into Liberia? A/P then ground shuttle to my hotel so I really don't want to have to do too much driving unless I have to. I'd rather chase Roosters or go inshore fishing for snapper, etc...

Hi Larry,

Yeah, I'm thinking about chasing Tarpon out in Cano Negro then doing some blue lining for confluences along the Pacific side. I've been corresponding with one of the guides from that link you provided. Their Tarpon run 40-200 lbs. Should be a blast!!!
