Dominican Bayahibe area fly fishing info

Hello I'm on my way to the Dominican in Mar and would appreciate any info at all or experiences for the area, I do like the idea of DIY but I will hire if need be.I only have a month to go before we leave and would love to get my line wet with my son and grandson's if possible.Thanks in advance.

How did your trip go? Did you fish? I’m heading there in a few weeks and there doesn’t seem to be much fly fishing info on the interwebs.
