    OK weekend came and gone. Friday, I stopeed by a culvert on the Beaver dam Cr and came up with 3 nice fat brooks about 8" and when I went home from the rondesvos, I picked up 2 more about the same size. Of course I did louse one that had to be 12", he broke a 6 lb test line. fun times

    Right at the Northfork Campground on FR 37 about 1/3 mile south of Hwy 140, I was catching and releasing 6' to 7" brooks. they tore my two flies I was using up. I am going to retire them. they were really hunger, hitting about every second to third case. a lot of fun.


    Some of you should come out, be ready to be part mountain goat and get your feet wet.

    This creek drainage I was in is strictly atifical lure, release all rainbows and keep all brooks. Nice tasty little morsels.

    Love 'our' small part of the World. If you're rolling your eyes it's because you can't/won't afford $3.70 per gallon for Petrol.
