Question Fishing Alaska this summer?

Thinking about a trip to Alaska this summer for king salmon on the fly. Any suggestions for a remote lodge with good fly fishing?

Hello osogrande:

I don't have much experience with Alaska but you might contact George Heim. He is the moderator of this forum's Pacific Northwest section. I don't know if this is what you’re looking for but he seems to run a nice fishing service. His contact info is as follows.

Big Bear -
Kings on the fly are do-able in a couple of areas of the state...
The Nushagak and the Kanektok would both be good choices for you.
I don't really have any first hand experience with the lodges on these rivers but have run float trips on them - they are fly rod friendly and have good king runs.
