fishing was really good. nothing too big but really fun fish. hooked up with 13 and landed 9. pretty fun little river. most of the fish were on prince nymphs
the biggest was caught on a royal couchmen. tied it on after i lost my last prince.

How has the SG river been? Anyone been up to Piru lately. Trying to get in a good day on the water before the new year? Any suggestions?

I fished the EF last Wednesday. The water was 46 degrees and not much action, a few strikes and 2 hook ups, but I brought none to hand. It was the first time fishing the San Gabriel that I got skunked. I talked to a couple other people who were having similar luck, or lack there of. The WF was chocolate milk. The water flow was up about 8” to 10” from November. I’m hoping to make it back up this week if time permits, maybe New Years day?

Looks like you had a lot of fun and got some fish!!! Here's to hoping that the coming weekends rains hold off long enough to get a fly wet, preferrably from the creek or river, not the rain!!!
