Fished a couple of favorite places in the lower Sierra, western slope. Steep gradients, but I found eddys, plunge pools, and the occasional meadow area. Caught browns, brook and rainbow, mostly subsurface action on BHPTNs and copper johns. At the end of day 2, the rainbows started hitting on the white thingamabobber, so I switched to a royal wulff that had lots of white on top. Sure enough, they couldn't resist.
