That's Jake's first Bow, and that's a boat net......
It's official....wet wading and fish eating hoppers!
Golden Stones are out, and Sallies are starting to be seen in numbers.
Flows are stabilizing at closer to Summer level.
1050 cfs in town.....still a bit high for dries, but you can fish an indy to effect. Water temp is near 52, air temp 70 deg. Get a good drift...they know we are after them.
If you fish a hopper up top, think shade...
A big stick still rules for these flows, but soon a 9' rod will work.
Rule #1 as always on the T, don't tell them you are coming.
You can get love early and late, but mid-day is for guys who can grind out a fish. Mostly a good time for a nap after a nice lunch.

Nice time for critter encounters too...A Killdeer stands over it's eggs (you can just see one underneath) and says."Bring It buddy!!!
