Spring is coming!

Truckee River and tributaries are showing the effects of warm weather.
Rainbows and browns are moving around now, and more bugs are popping.
Variable flows cause color to go off a bit, but fish it anyway, they've got to eat. I tye a floating torrent ant for early season flows and greedy fish.
3x normal sz. Passes for either late skwalla, or early flying carpenter ant on steriods. I feature "bling" and brite color on my subsurface offerings.

Thanks for the update Bigfly. The river is still quite chocolatey in town here so it will be a little bit before I get back out.

I think now is a good time to fish the section above Squaw creek. Much better clarity and no raft hatch yet!
