I am going to paddle the Teslin and Yukon between Johnson’s Crossing and Minto in July. I am pretty confident when it comes to my setup for Graylings (Wulff TT+ WFW5, different poly leaders). Would appreciate some views as to floating with polys is a good idea or if I should buy a different line to maybe go deeper and/or deep quicker.

Much less sure around the one for Pikes (using streamers):

Are Pikes going low at this time of year in the rivers and would it therefore make sense to go for a F/S line with a sinking tip (sink 3, sink 5) or is the water cool enough for them to stay at the surface and one should go for floating ? Or intermediate ?? Any hints would be much appreciated. Also some ideas on what streamers would work would be great.

Thanks
Oliver
