Not quite fishing related but had every kid in the neighborhood in the kitchen.

House full of 'Munchkines.'

Loaded up with butter, then we would head for the river:
Twice a month was 'baking day;' some of these kids? I had zero idea who they were ... but at the table.

Best compliment I ever had was: "I feel safe here."

That scared me; called Child Protective Services.

This is really GOOD!!

That's so awesome! Lucky you. I really enjoyed my younger years. Grew up with in the middle of a bunch of lake loaded with pike & perch. My and my dog (bestest of best friends.) No life Like it...the outdoors. Now I am a senior (They Say) and Still working at the top of my wage scale...in an area Loaded with a many different types of trout and 5 different stains of salmon. I'm gonna retire there building bamboo fly rods. Y knot.

Thanks for the recipe.....I cut the sugar from 2 cups o_O to one..
