Vancouver - Oct 14 - 19th

Hi All -

I am heading to Vancouver Oct 14th - 19th for a work trip, but will be bringing my 8wght rod as well. I am not looking for any body to give up their secrete hole, or tell me exactly what/why/where. But, i would LOVE if a someone with knowledge of the area would PM me or respond to this thread just so that i can get some basic info. I have emailed a fly shop in Vancouver and asked some questions and will be buying some flies and other gear from them when i arrive.

- Only 1 day to fish
- Won't have a car, might be able to rent
- Interested in anything close to Vancouver
- HELP!

Hi,
Id look into coho and chum fishing on the Squamish, Cheakamus and Mamaquam rivers. Stop in at Pacific Angler or Highwater Tackle, they can help you our with gear...and You will need a car.
