I've had a couple here and there hit clousers while smallmouth fishing but was wondering what other patterns work well. Any tips would also be appreciated. Thanks!

They eat clousers, for sure...this guy was supposed to be a striper. I didn't want him in my tube with me so I towed him to shore...my feet are 13's btw.

I've hooked up with them on buggers and clousers and they can be aggressive. Someone here must target them and know more than this...-Mike

I caught this one on a black matuka while carp fishing. Some guys around here use wooly buggers.

I've never targeted them with flies, but have caught channel cats, & bullheads many times while fishing for bass. Most any streamer or nymph pattern will work. I tie a leech pattern with black ostrich herl, Clouser deep minnow style, and have caught a lot on that fly. I don't believe catfishes are too particular. If you get the fly near them, they'll eat it! :)
