Peterborough vacation
Hello all,

I'm headed to Peterborough for a family vacation next week and am hoping to get out to do some fishing. I'd like to stay around the town if possible as I have a young child so don't want to venture too far. Would someone point me in the direction of some good fishing?
Some other questions would be, what species should I be targeting in July? And What's your favourite pattern? I'd imagine some good minnow streamer patterns would be good but if there are some super effective dry flies people are using I'd love to know about them.
I'm primarily a catch and release fisherman but if I catch a decent eater i won't be hurt. :D
A bit of additional information: I'm thinking that I'll bring my 4 piece 9W as it's my only 4 piece and easy to travel with, I'll have my waders with me and I run versatip line so I have options....

Re: Peterborough vacation
Peterborough has a central lake called Little Lake right in the city. Access it through Rogers Cove or Beavermead Park. Good for bass, musky, and maybe some trout left over from an annual event at the lift locks. Im local so if you have any questions let me know.
