Just heard about this river... I don't know what flies to use, any suggestions will be appreciated. I'm not familiar with the hatches... Thanks!

I fished that river for years when I lived in Columbus. I never paid attention to hatches on it. There are some really nice sized browns in that river, and I typically fished streamer patterns....zonker leaches, sculpings, muddler minnows. Brown, black, olive, yellow, white. Of course, on the more clear and low days, you can't go wrong w/ beadhead nymphs (prince, copper john, etc) and wooly buggers.

I used 4x and 6x.

My typical setup though was an articulated sculpin w/ a 4x or 6x octopus hook.

Thanks, do you mean 4x or 6x tippet or hook size?
Disregard that misunderstood.
