    Hi
just read all the reports on fishing Montana.
I am across the pond and was thinking of coming over next year.
If the so called big bucks boys get away with it then it will come a little like fishing in the South of England all the best rivers /land are private owned, you can fish them ( some ) but you are talking about $300 per day. how sick would you fill if you went home on a blank

But keep up the good working

Lots of great places to fish in Montana, the problem is there are too many! It's a huge State so (length of stay dependent) pick an area and you'll have several great rivers to fish within an hours drive of your hotel room.

To help with your planning Montana's Fish and Game Regulation book is 'on line' and is stuffed with valuable info.

    Try here for starters..

    Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks

The book "Fly Fishers Guide to Montana" - would be a welcome addition to narrow down to an area
