Default Re: Colorado in early April

It was may 1st for me two years ago. I'm thinking april this year in durango. I'll be watching the snows and flows and going to try and make the first bluebird week of weather. Same deal to the south fork area, too.

Check out Eleven Mile Canyon. Maybe 45minutes to an hour outside of the Springs. Great water, easy wades. It's a tailwater and the last 2 miles before the dam are all protected Gold Medal waters. Mind Blowing trico hatches in the summer. Bring #20-24 bwo emer's and midges. Best of luck and Tight Lines!
