Chris: The GF picked up a project horse last winter, she finally has shoes on both horses, I did a little training session in the round pen on Sunday and that went well, hopefully we will be able to get out and do an easy trail ride this coming weekend. We probably won't be able to do a trip into the Winds until August. I'm sure hoping we are able to make it up there again this year, it is a pretty awesome place. In the meantime I'm hoping we can hit some of the lower remote lakes on day trips........my whole reason for learning to ride horses!

Larry with a good horse you will be fishing all those places you want in no time .I have trailered mine from here in NC to the Beartooths to fish and it is wonderful; just get a horse you feel comfortable with and trust. They are like people and have their own personalities.Good luck and great report.
