cochise, man, I wish I could hit the "like" button a whole bunch more than once. What a great post and pics!

I waited out a huge storm while sitting on the banks of the Henry's Fork this summer and my fishing partner and I experienced an epic afternoon of fishing to rising trout on the Railroad Ranch. By the time other anglers ventured out on the river the action was over.

Fall just started in our neck of the woods and it looks to be a spectacular one. I can only assume the trees will really start to turn after last night when area temps dipped below freezing for the first time since last April.

Here are a few pics from past fall seasons:

I hope to get out soon to get some recent shots. Thanks for creating this thread!

Awesome Pics... I love when pics tell a story about the entire trip, not just fish pic's. Looks like a great time. Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely incredible. I'm in the middle of trying to find a way to escape this Texas heat. Trying like heck to make the move to CO. This really fuels that fire.

    Beautiful, just beautiful!

I feel guilty because it's 4:15 in the afternoon and a perfect day outside. I was to be headed to the cabin and then on to a river way out in the Interior by Saturday.........

By 1:30 PM I was worn out after a 6:00 AM start and postponed the trip till tomorrow. I can only hope for some decent weather because it's been rough for weeks here. I will be taking the photo bag and tripod along in case the weather is good. That little camera I bought for fishing works great but for really good shots I need my SLR and some gadgets

I'll be gone for about 5 days but will post a thread if I get good weather.

    Beautiful shots,

    Ard
