Thanks for the report, I wish I were spending today there. Here in Maine the water is still pretty much above flood stage.
The two flies you mentioned- the BWO and the BH Hare's Ear #20 are the money flies there. I always fished the Hare's Ear as a dropper off an Elk Hair caddis, and fished a #20- sometimes smaller- gray RS2 off the BWO. About 20" between the dry and the dropper.
As previously mentioned, it's great to see that stream recover so nicely after last year's scouring.
Keep up the reports, guys. They're seriously making me homesick.
