Hoback River Report?

Hunter: I haven't fished the Hoback this year, but with the shorter days, longer nights and low's into the 30's I'm guessing the fishing should be fine.

Not sure of the water temps, but I blind cast some caddis dries and parachute Adams in there about 12 days ago for a few hours in passing. Small to mid-sized cutties rose one after another. Kinda easy. Fished the lower canyon as well as the upper around the uppermost campground.
Water is way low on the upper. Fish averaged a few inches longer below Granite Creek for some reason.
Going back to the upper Green from Bondurant isn't that far, and might be another option. Or, on down the Hoback to the Snake. Those are the river options within an hour of Bondurant.
