Took the son of some dear friends out a few weeks back, hiked in and hit some water in the Gros Ventre's. just getting into fly fishing and here is his first on a fly rod.
There are some nice fish in the water and managed to fool this one into the net.
My new found fishing partner handled the netting magnificantly!
Over on my side I finally got out on the boat. Been too busy of a summer, 2 weddings back east, oldest son planning their wedding, meeting the future in-laws and that work thing. Had to go it solo for the maiden voyage on my "home water" .
Here she is ready to go.
And the first fish in the boat!
And NO I did not need the net.
