When you get onto a big one and it takes you long enough getting it boatside to where it lets out a long moan, you'll have to drag it a long time to revive it. Make sure you got those yellow gloves because their jaw can't be held on to without them they are so slimy.

How did everything go for you guys? I have a job opportunity developing in San Juan, and I dont really need much persuasion to make the move, I just wanted to get some insider info on the process and such.

I am headed to Vieques for 10 days in March and have fly fished there in the past. IF you are interested, we could meet up for some wading, or split a guided day. Franco Gonzalez is a good guide and the best flats are only accessible by boat.
