Default Stole a day from old man winter :)

I sat down at 7am with a cup of coffee to check the weather and tides. I would imagine my face lit up like a little kid on Christmas morning as i read the reports. 52 degrees, 5mph west wind and an 11am low tide. My daughter's 4th grade rendition of 101 Dalmatians was at 9am, after that i was free. I knew the fish would be small if any but with a 5mph wind a 7wt would do just fine. The fish were small but they kept me busy all afternoon. A half a dozen schoolies in the surf on a 7wt in January? No complaints here .

Schoolies are the future so I am never bummed to see them around.

Awesome fish and congrats on a fun day. I fished the Chattahoochee today (Atlanta) and had a good day catching 4 10-12 inch stocked rainbows so that fish is pretty nice looking to me.

Oh I was happy to bend a rod, any fish in hand is a good one. However, I was out with a 7wt and I was sooooo hoping for a 30+ to give me a run for my money!
