Lady fish on the fly

A nice bully and strong fish, I had a nice black drum break my leader, before this fish. It was nice to have a great tug on my fly line.

The first time I went saltwater fly fishing in St. Petersburg, Florida I caught a bunch of ladyfish.
I had no idea what they were, just that they were a ball on the fly.
They do tear up the flies and leader, though.

they fight as good as any fish pound for pound....
