Kino bay-- Infiernillo Channel

Hello,
My name is Josh and I am privileged enough to be part of a group that will be spend 7 days kayaking in the infiernillo channel. I have never fly fished in salt water before and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on what to expect in this area. What species will I run into? What flies should I use? I have an 8wt. rod with two spools (one floating, one intermediate). Any gear advice?

Josh,
Sounds good. I haven't been that far up but you should chase up something. I'd start with anything resembling baitfish, deceivers, whatever. It's been really windy here in the afternoons lately (San Carlos) so it might be up there too if this trip is happening right away. Have fun.
