Crosby took advantage of the lake closing and did a little remodeling to the bar. The lake could open earlier depending on if they get all the beach access repairs and boat launch repairs done.

it might not be fishable for a couple of weeks with all the flooding. You can pretty much find any dirt pullout, walk a few feet and find a hole or 2 to fish

I'll be a travelling mofo then cause this idea of possibly killing off the resident fish in the T is just plain stupid and I cannot support it. The LCT will not survive the way the Truckee is set up...

NDOW is the agency doing the stocking of the LCT from the Gardenerville hatchery. It may be a federal program but it was approved locally and being stocked by state agencies.

If they find a way to kill off the resident browns in the Truckee they will lose every dime I would have spent on licenses to fish in NV and Cali. I'll stick to Pyramid and travel for the rest. ...

By far my most successful carp fly. Works really well on trout too. I tie it on a sz 6 scud hook for carp.

Pyramid Lake is a must fish for any fisherman. A 5 wt will put you at a disadvantage for the bigger fish but will handle the shakers no problem. I'd be worried with a double digit fish though. You...
