    1. Bahamian certified fishing guides will be employed if two or more anglers are fishing on the Flats by means of a vessel (skiffs, etc.);

    2. Only Bahamian registered vessels will be allowed on...

    Re: Beginner Fly Tying Advise

I agree with denny, but I'd also like to add the Peak vise into the mix. I've been tying with one for around 5 years and have never had any issues.

Re: New GoPro hero5 - any tips?

I've always had luck shooting at sunrise or sunset because the midway light can be a little harsh on the GoPro. The best tip I can give you is to keep filming. The more you film the better you'll get.

Re: Hand painted Tarpon fly box

I'm interested, but how much is the box?
  15. Re: How big is the difference between a 6wt and an 8wt?

You can definitely fish with a 6wt, but I think a 7-8wt would be a better size for what you're doing. You should take a look at the 8wt TFO BVK.

Re: How To Learn to Double Haul

I feel like he didn't discuss feel at all. I think Lefty Kreh did the best videos teaching people how to cast a fly rod.

    Re: Good affordable reel?

I think Redington makes a solid, affordable reel. I've tested out their Behemoth reels on redfish and never had any issues. I believe the Redington Zero is a smaller line reel that might be a good...

re: Wearing Wading Boots on a Plane

I'd store the boots in the undercarriage and sport some flip flops. Wet boots on a flight sounds like a miserable experience.

Poll: Re: Barbless or barbed hooks?

It all depends on the species. I'll crush the barbs when I'm fishing for redfish, but I'll leave them when I'm in the keys looking for tarpon/permit. Ha, I need all the help I can get trying to...

Poll: Re: Do you buy or tie?

    Re: This is insane!

I'm going to take a guess and say that guy doesn't live in California. I bet redfish would crush that fly.
