    After you take a few trips out, you'll figure what your necessities are. The minimalist approach is the way to go at first. Bring a lot of water for sure to stay hydrated.

    I definitely agree with you on this. I personally use a drift sock to slow me down enough to stay in the sweet spot a little bit longer. Very easy to use.

    I use a Redington Butterstick 5wt. Full flex but still has enough to throw poppers.
