Re: What's In Your Yard?

The usual list of northern critters, looking back at some older shots I always get a chuckle out of this one, this poor girl's bottom is almost bald.

Re: Shipping rods

I sold a bunch of my older rods this winter, having had the same concern I decided to make my own triangular box's out of heavy duty cardboard. I definitely would not send a rod just in it's aluminum...

I've been using suture material(absorbable) for awhile now, both chromic(slightly brown) and plain(clear) with no problem. I tied a bunch a couple of seasons ago and they are still going strong. I...

Re: Scott F2 703/3 vs. Sage Circa 279-4

I've got two of the F2's, one is the 6' 2wt and the other a 6'6" three weight, they are my small stream rods. I've never cast the 7' but these two small stream rods are a delight to cast. The 6'6"...

Re: Scott F2 653 and 703

I've got the 653 but have never cast the 703 to compare it to. Having owned a few glass 3wt. rods in the sub 7' range this is the one I would not part with, every time I have it out I'm amazed at...
