    Where to fish for Pike

Iíve caught one Pike in Alaska but I have never gone after them as my target. Where would you suggest going to catch Pike? Are there any lakes in Montana that hold a Pike? Anything in California?

Re: Equipment that's too nice to use.

High end gear is like a brand new car. After the first scratch, you can loosen up and drive it hard as it was intended.

Re: Frog Hair Technology tippet and trout hunter.

I contend trout don’t care what tippet you use. If they can’t see that big honking hook coming out of the butt of your fly, why would they care about an almost invisible thread coming off its nose?
