Boulder top

Made it up to the famous Boulder Mountains, I fished the top which does not hold the large trophy fish the boulders are known for but the fish were decent size and scenery was great!

Re: Blackfoot river

The only issue was breathing the air, it was horrible. Other than that the fires had no effect on access to the river. There is around 16 fires currently burning in the area...They need rain bad!

Re: Blackfoot River

I fished the river near Greenough, it was cloudy & overcast for most of the day, so I stuck with a double nymph set-up. I have read about some nice fish & scenery in the canyon section.

Re: Heading to NW Wyoming.....

Below is my two cents.....

Crandell, Sunlight, N. Fork Tongue, south fork of the Shoshone should all have good fishing. The north Fork of Shoshone in September will be slow. Greybull will be good,...

Re: Heres my trip....thoughts?

With the water levels where they are this year, the North Fork may be slow fishing. Most of the fish head back to the lake as the water levels drop. Near the park entrance (upper) will have some...

Re: Escalante mountains

Yes, when I use the paint mode on my camera; things really get saturated. I do like some of the scenery shots & fish shots in paint mode.

Re: Do you like to fish alone?

Alone, but I do manage 1 trip a year with a good friend. I'd rather catch two trout on the road less traveled than 10 trout on a river full of anglers.
