Thread: A Few Streamers

    Default A Few Streamers

Got into a streamer tying kick the last few days here are some of them that I have tied . I always like adding color to the bench brightens the day.

Nice. Love the ghosts, and especially the Green Beauty variant (grizzly instead of plain wing) at the very top. I'd take 'em to Maine with me in June in a heartbeat.

    Nice streamers, Allen!

The Rangeley streamer patterns; particularly the ghosts, are just plain pretty to look at, as well as being very effective on the water.

I can help you run the "Maine experiment" if you'd like....!

    Nice flies for sure,

I have always enjoyed making featherwings once I get myself to it.

Thank you Allan and Ard !
Ard I usually get the itch to tye these when I get to sorting through my hackle to do the shows. When I see all the strung hackle and colors it just begs to be tied to a hook.
This selection of streamers are being donated to Halcklebarney Trout Unlimited in New Jersey for their annual fund raising dinner. To help provide funds for stream improvements and dam removal .
