    Default Mixed hackle

    Mixed hen and rooster hackle.
    Insipred by Erik Eikre´s "Vera" fly. All around fly , dry and wet.

    Nice fly (again) Trygve!

    Looks like a Wooley Worm, of sorts, but I've never seen a mix of rooster and hen hackle used on a WW. I assume that you have to treat it to keep it on top of the water(?)

    One other in different colors. (black hen and brown rooster)
    Heavy work with a toothbrush on the fly. Used the scissor under.
    This is a fly were the Norwegian fly fishing team have a lot success with.
