    Default Another Steelhead Fly; Stranger

I catch many trout / steelhead on a big brown Whitlock Sculpin pattern. The tie has reddish brown deer hair with some black spun into the head and a little red in the front portion of the body. That is why I am making so many different salmon and spey patterns having red & brown in the general color scheme. If it is not 2*, that's two degrees where you live how bout tying one and giving it a try? This one will be waiting awhile before it hits the water.

Thank you fellas' I just wish it were above 32* so I could tell you how well they work. Just going on conformation and coloration I'm figuring them to be OK.

    Thanks again
