cicvara: The body of the first fly is made from very thin chamois material with a peaccok herl head. The photo is a little over exposed, the material is a very light tan color (the photo makes it look off-white). Don't buy the good chamois (the material is too thick), I bought a very cheap chamois and used a rotary cutter that the quilters use for cutting thread, and used a big wide ruler to hold the chamois steady and to keep the fingers away from the cutter.
