    Default Sac Fry

Went to the Midwest Fly Show this past weekend and spotted a friend and very good Muskegon River guide tying these patterns, they are a great fly for this time of year. I made note of the materials and here's what I came up with...Going to hit a couple of Ohio streams tomorrow and give them a try...

    Size 10 3906
Tail and wing: Pearl Polar Flash
Body: Lt Yellow UV Ice Dub
Egg Sac: Shrimp Pink Ice Dub & Bright Orange Edge Brite
    Eyes: Plastic Bead Chain

On some I dubbed some white UV Ice Dub to wrap over the eyes and make the head.

They look great! Sort of a fry or an egg going on there. Nice pattern!
Each smallest act of kindness - even just words of hope when they are needed, the remembrance of a birthday, a compliment that engenders a smile - reverberates across great distances and spans of time, affecting lives unknown to the one whose generous spirit was the source of this good echo, because kindness is passed on and grows each time it's passed, until a simple courtesy becomes an act of selfless courage years later and far away.

They're imitations of the fry that come up out of the gravel from last falls spawn. I'm hoping they will work for me...

Great looking fly. Thanks for the recipe. Be tying some of those and showing them at a club tie.
