    HOOK: TMC 2457, Daiichi 1120, Mustad CO68, #10-#14

    THREAD: Gordon Griffith 14/0, Brown

    BEAD: Black Tung., sized to hook

    UNDER ABDOMEN: Lime Green Flashabou

    OVER ABDOMEN: Green Jelly Cord, Spirit River

    The Jelly Cord is thick and has minimum stretch…use for larger size hooks…



    MICRO JELLY CADDIS (Green/Olive – ish)…

    HOOK: TMC 2457, Daiichi 1120, Mustad CO68, # 14-#16

    THREAD: Lagartun, 74 Denier, Brown

    UNDER ABDOMEN: Tying Thread

    OVER ABDOMEN: Two sections of light olive Midge Tubing

    THORAX: Olive Squirrel Blend Dubbing – Spirit River

    BEAD: Black Tung., sized to hook

    OVER BODY: 1/2 Strand Rusty Brown Zelon

    RIB: 5X Mono

    WINGS: Natural Partridge, V-Notched

    THORAX: Brown Ostrich Herl

    TAN UV CHEWEE SKIN CADDIS LARVAE…

    HOOK: THC 2488 #12-#18

    THREAD: Gordon Griffith 14/0, Brown

    ABDOMEN: Tan UV Chewee Skin strip…(coat thread with CA glue like ZAP Foam Safe before wrapping)…I learned the HARD WAY…

    THORAX: Rusty Brown, Ostrich Herl

    SHELL BACK: Brown Scud Back, 1/8″

    Leave out the CA glue and “POP” goes the Chewee Skin…



    DEEP PURPLE…Caddis Larvae

    HOOK: TMC 2457, Daiichi 1120, Mustad CO68, #10-#14

    THREAD: Uni, 6/0, Black

    UNDER BODY: Purple Holographic Tinsel

    OVER BODY: Clear, Glitter D-Rib, Medium

    THORAX: Black Ice Dub

    BEAD: Black Tung.

    Michael used this pattern as a lead fly on the East Walker River, at dusk, and took some REALLY nice Browns…

    Awesome flies, I have a lot of caddis in a creek I fish, and those would just kill.
