    Silver doctor

    Hook - #2 bartaleet
    Tip - Silver flat
    Tag - yellow floss
    Tail - GP crest king fisher over
    Butt - red wool
    Body - silver flat
    Rib - silver oval
    Collar - silver doctor blue saddle hackle gunie fowl over
    Under Wing - GP tippets
    Built wing - married red, yellow, blue goose with kori bustard top and bottom
    Over wing - bronze mallard
    Topping - GP crest
    Head - red wool



    Here's one I did last night the wing was built whlie I was at work anytime I had to wait for anything, out came my feather tin

    Great looking fly. Nicely proportioned in the tail and topping and the wing looks perfect.

    Seriously, I see nothing wrong with it... nothing. I don't know a ton about the classics but am starting to like the look of them. Man that's sure a purty fly.

    Just one question,Gonna fish it? I think seeing a picture of it stuck in a huge rainbows or salmons mouth would make it all the better too.

    That came out really well, Chris; nice looking Silver Doctor!

    Are you pullling barbs off the lower side of the GP underwing to get that elevation above the hook shank?
